    I had a spike walk right under me tonight. 10 min later I had two does approaching me. One of the does were going to be a target but the spike felt like he wanted to get lucky:) Off they went the chase began.

    Just heading out will be in the stand in about an hr for a full day of hunting. 42f outside with a small chance of rain and a gentle breeze. Good luck to all hunting.

    In the tree at 9:30 AM. I'm hoping for the rare elusive middle of the day deer. I'll have to leave around 3:00ish for an eye Dr appmt.

    No deer but loads of scraps on the way out. Turkey hunting now till about 3 then bk in the stand for deer.

    Well the squirrel that's been barking at me since I got in tree finally shut up. Pretty sure if I coulda found him I'd of shot it. Probably wouldn't of even felt bad, annoying little thing ha. Its quiet now though and just waiting for some action.

    Sittin in a tree island on the ground surrounded by bean fields. They hit it pretty regular around 430 so I'm hoping tonight I kill my first deer

    This guy came in just like he was supposed to, came in to a doe bleat (done very nicely by my brand new Flexstone Extinguisher). Closed the gap to 9 yards. I was actually just about to check the forums, so I had my phone out anyway, and got this pic. He looks to be about a 1.5 year old 8 pointer. He is very symmetrical and his brow tine make his 8.[​IMG]
