Just gotta go thumb and middle finger now haha.

Been here for a couple hours now, seen 2 does and a yearling so far. Still have an hour and a half of light basically.

I'm about 45 mins from Quincy, have to schedule a time when I make it down that way and grab a beer. Me and the wife usually head to roadhouse or riverside at least once a month.

Had deer all around my tonight. Two does at 20 yards in two different lanes 15 yards. Drew on one with both heads down and well I drew back the one stomped and ran away. Time to give the go to spot a rest tell next weekend. Interesting where I will go Tomorrow but just trying to drop a doe or a nice buck if it presents itself for a shot.

Well walking out sucked, walked around the field edge as far from the woods as I could get and still had deer blowing at me, from the sounds of it, I was sitting in the wrong place tonight. Total for the day were 8 turkey, 2 geese, bunch of crows, one big pheasant, 1 yote, some tree rats and 1 spike buck.

As far as the hunting tonight was pretty slow, after about 1.5-2 hours in stand I got tired of being blown around in tree and got down. Set up on the ground in a different spot closer to a corn field that's been shelled. Not sure what it was but just couldn't get very motivated after moving. Oh well just one them things I guess. Ill be back at it in the morning.

Spooked one deer climbing down tonight, probably the same fork buck I saw earlier this evening.

Best sit of my life. 25 does in range, and passed on 3 bucks from around 140 120 and 100ish. But what made it the best was I had my double drop time at 50 yards with no shot and he is still bedded next to my tree stand.

    Very hopeful for tomorrow morning!
