Looks like we are all hunting the same spot...

This is the other side of the creek where the buck walked this morning.

Well I'm back in a tree again. I got a late start today, had to get the wife off to work. Then I started out from the house and forgot my hearing aids and had to go back to get them. Can't see, can't hear, getting older SUCKS!!! I didn't get settled in until 9:30 AM. I'm not too upset about the late start because the property owner and I have been seeing deer all times of the day. I'll have to leave late afternoon to be home before the wife to help her in and fix dinner.
    AND THE WAIT BEGINS AGAIN.

    Thems some skinny looking trees.

    Same here 20131015_103049.jpg

I did see another stand while I was out there haha :poke: It really is a great spot though, lots of mature oaks - didn't drop a lot this year but during good years it rains acorns. Just wish we had more deer moving through. It's part of some private land my friend and I hunt semi-regularly.

I hope you killed him instantly; or at least got down to finish him off. Good shooting!!

This most times instant kill. When not it can wait until I get down and be fox or coyote bait.
