Turkey's behind me flying into the roost and a coyote just went through at 50yds.

 

First evening hunt of the year and more of the same. Haven't seen squat since the opener.

Pretty slow night but still better than the couch

 

Spent the evening car shopping, trying to figure out a way to use some insurance money for a new bow without her knowing. I mean she got in the accident and is getting a new car I think a Spyder for me is only fair.

 

My buddies got one real nice bow ! I love my chill though.

 

I thought about buying a Matthews but I really like the guys at Autumn Sky and would much rather give my money to Gus then the guy at deer creek for the Matthews.

 

Only been in their one time, seemed like a nice place.

 

Back on stand, prettyboy this morning the fog is extremely thick. One hour til sun up.

 

Put 2 flat heads down this weekend.

 

Just about light now. Hopefully I can knock one over before my Dr. appointment today.

Big buck out at 75 yds......I need him to turn down this creek cross

 

Just had 4 does walk through had a shot at what I think was 30-35 yds but my range finder is being a Richard idk if it's the fog or what

 

Another big body deer just took the same route as the buck.....looks like they have other plans than coming my way.

 

Same for me Brett not sure what my range finder is up to. Reads some areas, but not others?

 

Ill be out of the stand by 9. Quick hit hunt and I already think they all got passed me.

And the seat to my stand broke so Ive been standing. Seeing that buck was worth the price of admission.
