Thanks again guys. It felt great and glad to be able to share. Seeing others and their experiences just fueled my obsessing. I'm converting the gopro video of the hunt now and will put the shot when it's ready. It was sweet watching him for over half hour. Little too big of file to add. I plan on throwing some clips and pics together when I can. I'm not the best at it but hope to do a decent beginner job
Heres a one min clip of the shot. The whole thing I recorded from when he first hit the pile til after dropped was like 32 min and a couple gig of space, so figured id cut it to the shot for on here. Cant wait to get some real recording equipment for some better videos, but cant complain, I'm happy to have this. My trophycam (freshly replaced) acted up the last two days and otherwise should have had great video about 2 or 3 yards from the bear... not the most happy that didn't work but I'll live
4th day of season and I am finally in the stand. Set a ground blind earlier for future use. I'm in a 100 yard wide by a mile long shelter belt with beans on both sides. Plus two water holes in the area. Deer love to use the shelter belt for a travel corridor. I hope they are moving soon.
Turro, congrats on the bear and awesome video! I can't wait to put my GoPro to action this fall, hopefully I'll be able to share some successful hunts on here.
Thank ya and good luck to you. Looking forward to seeing some kills and how the videos go. Definitely experiment around practicing with the settings and see what works best. I can't wait to get a real camera and do some recording and get a few views to play with.
So jealous of those already out or about to be out! I'll have to live vicariously through all of you for a while:D
Live from the stand !! Got in stand kinda late lone wolf took me a little longer than expected. Feels great!! Nice cool morning !!
Congrats Turro! Nicely done dude. I'm so glad this thread is up and going again! Haha.:thumbup::D
