    Well I've been on stand for 3.5 hours now. Only thing I've seen is a few squirels. Acorns are falling pretty good. I'll be back this afternoon.

    Back in the ground blind tonight. Cam has lots of pics but nothing big till early morning hours. But i guess i'll never see them if I'm not in the stand. Good luck everyone.

    Made it to the stand, don't think I jumped anything. Did a quick cam check on one of my cams close to my stand, nothing too promising on it. Does are getting a pass today, I'm going for the hit listers. Good luck everyone and be safe. Shoot straight.

    Well first day on stand....wind shifting more than planned but still okay. Had a buck talking and working branches it sounded like before legal...so good to be witnessing God's creation at dawn from a tree!

    Just had 3 does work past me had a shot at 36 yds, but I didn't take it. Hopefully more come through ! Good luck to all you guys kicking off your season this morning !

    Finally sitting in the stand. Pretty warm out and sittin in a stand that'll be better later in year but at least I'm in the woods. Do need to trim this one branch, its right in way ha. Had it all good once but its a old hedge tree and branch broke off and is hanging right where I planned on shooting through.

    Just had doe and fawn out in the marsh that I am sitting over! Not a fan of shooting mamas that are still caring for little ones and it would have been a long shot anyways.
