Didn't take any pics, except one while I was skinning her. But I shot her at about 20 Yds, double lung. She went maybe 40 Yds and piled up on the edge of the cornfield. Nice easy recovery and a good night all around.

15 min away from getting to my land. Hunting a new stand I put up last week on the top of a ridge with a steep drop off on 1 side and a long slope on the other, a heavy trail going around the steep side. Got About 6 oak trees just 50yds away. good luck to all hunting.

Good luck. I got on stand way before daylight. This is the first morning that the tree rats have been very active. One may be assassinated before this is over...

Man it feels good to be back on stand this morning... sitting on an oak flat where we've had some luck in the past. Good luck to everyone this morning and be safe!

Just had a doe walk past at 15yds, didn't see her till it was to late she walk past my shooting lane before I was at full draw, I was then hoping she would turn left into another shooting lane but she kept walking away towards the acorns :( still early!!!

So that doe just came back out the way she went in, she comes out bouncing around past me at 15yds then out of sight. Then she is bouncing back towards me goes under my tree stand behind me does a 180 and bounces back over the ridge where she went earlier, her tail was down and lasted about 30 sec. It's like she was playing. Strange.

On the stand for the evening. New spot this time. Pulled the card for the cam here and had one wide 4 point on it around 10 45 am two days ago. Not as much traffic as I had hoped for but it's only been out a week.

Setup a mock scrape and dripper about 15 yds away. We'll see what that does in the coming weeks.

Just got set up. In a stand I call the river crossing stand. Pretty thick in here so they will be right on top of me if I get a shot.[IMG][IMG]
