Got all settled in at 2, and at 3 a couple guys come walking through the woods. I'm on private property mind you. I whistled to get their attention, they see me. I jump down and walk over to them, getting more and more angry as I get closer. Turns out its the older guy that lives across the street with his buddy. They had seen a nice buck walk across the road and it looked injured. I didn't see it obviously. I've met the guy before, he doesn't hunt and is a super nice guy. They were very apologetic, I understood though. Still sucks

Let's nock some deer down for the team today English. This will be my last sit before shotgun season next weekend. If I don't get it done today I'll be back at it late season. Good luck every one. It is a nice, dark, and calm morning. 32* and barely a wind. Little cloudy so no moon or stars at all. Camera next to the stand i am in has seen god action over the last week. 3-4 different bucks have hit the scrape I am by, all right around first light and last light. Don't want to say I'm gonna lower my standards, but who knows, it has been a rough season, I may get trigger happy.

17 mins before sun up. So far I have heard 2 coons fighting behind me, a bobcat screaming in the distance, and one coyote started singing to the north, then a bunch of other ones started sounding off in every direction. Didn't sound very close, but was cool to hear. Several rabbits have hopped by also. Now let's hope the deer are just as active.

Last day of gun season. Saw some fresh tracks in the snow on my way in. 23 deg and quiet. Waiting for the sun to come up. My butt is getting wet because the snow is melting under it.

Last Day of WI gun season for me as well. Has been really tough and deer sightings for me personally have been really down. Haven't seen a deer that wasn't bumped since Saturday Night of opening weekend. As during bow season I would see 15-25 a day. Good luck everyone!

I hate late gun season.... I he deer are all herded up and hiding... unless someone moves them, they don't move.

    Pretty, tho...

Nothing but squirrels, birds, and a house cat so far. Think I will sit till 10-11, then go check cams,
grab some lunch, maybe a nap, and get back in around 1-2 then sit till dark.

Just had 5 deer run past me, 3 does a folk and a 8p with 1 side broken off. 5 min later a 8p buck walks past me at 15 yds decided not to take him coz he was not big enough.
