    Well not exactly in a stand per say but it's first day of Muzzy season and I'm in a shooting house over a green field. I'm hoping those storms last night kept em bedded down and they will be moving this morning.

    In prime VA whitetail territory today.....gonna be a bit hot at 60 degrees but I dont care. Near the mountains by Harpers Ferry, WV and it is gorgeous.

    Well she left within 10 min of that post. But they just circled around and came back out. 115 yd shot and she stumbled out of the food plot

    Hot. 60. Temps will start dropping around 2 and where I am located should shade up about that time as well. I dont expect much before then plus from everything Ive seen, the bucks are locked down pretty hard. We shall see.

    In the blind tonight, was planning a sit in a stand that has been seeing some action, but I guess all that wind yesterday loosened up a couple bolts between the ladder and the platform and I don't have my wrenches with me to tighten them and didn't feel like going back to the truck. On a good note, the cam shows some action the last 2 nights around las light.

    Will be back out tomorrow and Wednesday for all day sits unless I luck up and get it done tonight.

    Made my third stand switch today. Just too hot sitting at 900 feet elevation. Moved down a couple hundred feet elevation and started jumping bedded does. Just got set up for the last two hours. Hoping to get lucky.
