    Likely to be the last sit of my vacation. Bittersweet as its been a mixed bag, but not sure I'm ready to give it up yet. I could see myself maybe going for a half day Sunday depending on the weather. Although a couple days of rest would do me good, I've lost 13 pounds since the 7th and TV hasn't been turned on since I watched the recorded Steelers game Sunday night.

    All set and waiting for daylight. Had what sounded like a couple does walk by me just about 5 mins after I got settled. They either smelled me or my estrus drag and wick then blew. A little on the warmer side this morning but perfect besides that. Good luck all those in the woods today. Be safe.

    All set up for today
    Feels good to be back in the stand after working the last three days
    Left out Monday and felt beat down and worn out after 14 days on stand now with three days away and back in stand ready to go
    Downside dropped quiver this morning it's at the base of my tree luckilyi had already put arrow on bow

    Actually made it in without bumping anything. That never happens in the bottoms. Think my uncle and/or one if his friends is hunting today as well. Hope I don't ruin their hunt, waited as long as possible before coming down, still not sure if it was uncles truck or his friends so didn't knock.

    Hoping for the best.

    Just had a fork horn buck come to within 10 yards behind me. He stayed behind some pines I'm up against then went out around never offering a shot.

    Had a long walk in this morning to the back corner of my property. It's close to a nice bedding area with a perfect wind. I took longer than I should've with the entry/setup.

    So far a doe and nice 6 within range, also 2 other does and a spike. I feel like this could be the day.
