Switched stands already, really hated to but the wind was being filtered every direction it shouldn't have. Seen a lone deer about 6:45, guessing young spike. On the way here I bumped a doe and good 10 point, she was bedded at the base of the pond levee. Had two small does under this stand. Let them move off to the bedding area and should be good to go.

Still liking my odds, especially knowing the bedroom is occupied.

Well got out late, checked cams on the way in and got a nice surprise. Splitter, my num.1 target has shown back up after 2 months being m.i.a. Too bad he showed up at 830 last night and was headed south towards a cut bean field, then the highway, and across the highway is 120 acres belonging to the guy I lease from. At least I know he is in the area though. Will be sitting till dark today, good luck all.

Where the hell are you? You've been covered up in deer all season. This year has been terrible compared to last on the farm I hunt and we aren't even an hour away from each other!

    Winds gusting to 28 now.

Realistically I have two days left, today and tomorrow. Saturday winds are supposed to be 30-40 and rain Sunday.

No sir . Some of the places I hunt are over run with does. Landowners and MD in General want them gone! Who am I to argue?
