    Swing and a miss on a doe...shot.beneath. Had beautiful 6 pt at 5 yds....maybe 100 inches. No bucks til.Oct 5. Back at it tomorrow

    Compound, I suck. I got a new sight and it is really dialed in, but in the moment of truth tonight, it felt brand new and it cost me. I was screwing around trying to line up my sight picture, passed a doe I probably should have drilled at 15 yards, and then quickly released the arrow without any follow through at a doe 20 yards away. Hence, whiffed below vitals=I suck

    Had a shooter buck under my stand at 550. Saw antlers and that was all I could see. Had another buck close by but I think they bedded in the corn a ways off. Nice cold morning though!

    Thanks Brett! Just saw another buck to my east could not tell how big small guy I think. Still got a doe 35 yds in front of me behind a dead fall.
