All went silent. Thought for sure I'd get a visual.

Brent trying to type this for 25 minutes. All heck broke loose in a bedding area about 7:45. Could see flashes of a deer but nothing come out. It's the 3rd image and direction where I expect antlers to approach from with NW wind. Whole area is thick bedding and in between me and the tree line is 3-6 feet tall. Only deer I've seen in it was invisible except for the weeds parting.

Nothing going on yet this morning which is surprising considering how much activity I saw yesterday.

Visual! Think he's right behind me, forgot the ?!$& can. Coolest experience I've ever had with a buck. Grunting and thrashing everything. He didn't like me grunting, then when I realized I forgot can I snit wheezed and he stopped moving. Shaking like a leaf. Think he's still there, but not sure

This is the one day I am glad we don't have Sunday hunting. After 8 straight days of hunting I need a break.

Starting to think he wasn't thrashing everything, but that he was chasing one of them does around. It's so tall and thick I could only flashes and the weeds parting like a Bigfoot moment.

Trying to talk myself into and out of heading to the truck for the can. Not sure if its worth it.

Try bleating with your mouth! It isn't hard to get close to the sound and you might be surprised! It has worked for me before.

Lol, I tried it actually. Mouth was so dry it sounded more like a mouse. Thought of that old white haired bearded guy from deer and deer hunting show. He always did it, can't remember his name.

Man, the NWS really missed the wind speed. Supposed to be 5-7 becoming calm. Last check it was 15, freaking freezing right now.

He very well could of been I just spent last half hour watching a 2 year old 6 pointer run off a fork horn and chase a doe through the corn field I'm on and across crick through the draw. They made couple laps all around my stand ha. Looks like its picking up.

I had an itch and scratched it, drove to another public land spot. I had maps printed off and they are sitting in my desk at work....:bash: Im on a creek bed between 2 ceder thickets, so I'll stay for the rest of the day.

    And wind sucks!
