Small doe from this morning, was lethal and quiet enough hoping one if the bucks in cam makes an appearance. An hour and 15 left, but can't stop worrying about coyotes. Think she's down about 100 yds. away but ground is too damp.

Same two does the loggers spooked about 8 came back on same trail. Bigger doe stayed behind bushes, had to leave with something. Have the trail cam video from this morning and next hunt I'll have them in same area and should have the kill shot on the other cam.

This was the third time I moved back to this stand. Loggers left around 2:30 so I switched back. Love this stand. Oddly enough this is my first evening kill.

Having never shot a deer with a bow before made it even harder to let that spike walk from 7 yards!

Ever start having doubts after a good shot? Keep looking at the point of impact with my binoculars and replaying everything. Seeing two big tufts of white hair. She was about 8-2 quartering away, arrow went in about 8" behind right shoulder and must have exited opposite armpit/brisket. She flipped and arrow was laying my side of her and broad head facing me. I know it was good, but that white hair and arrow being in front of where she is standing is driving me crazy.

Maybe she kicked it when she bolted? Arrow looks good, seen good blood when I got my arrow. Never went further. Positive on a pass through.

    Rage 2 blades

Found the buck. 50 yards from the shot, he crashed right where I thought he did. I will post pics on the contest thread.

Had a 120" 10 with a 4" droptine come in about 30 mins ago, that's all so far though.
