The only thing keeping me going is the other two bucks we've been seeing in this bedding area are much bigger.

Sure enough looks like a stud was in front of my cam this morning ...can't tell what time but he looked huge on the mp6 viewer ...

Put the alpha in this tree here :)

Is this a hickory tree? The bark is very hard and was difficult for my climber to "dig in" this morning. Just now I was sitting here and the top piece of my climber slid all the way down to the bottom piece. I was never in any real danger but my knees became level with my face.

These are the only leaf pics I can get. Ones in the foreground.

Back in my original stand. Pulled my other card and moved for a bit while I ate lunch. The Paul Bunyon's have moved deeper into the neighboring woods.

Have to see if home computer gives a clearer image, phone compresses the video bad, but looks like yesterday predawn there was a huge buck under my stand. Could be the compression, but has me anxious to watch it.

Think I've found the reason for lack of deer on cams too. They normally filter through here from the neighboring property, if they've been in there surveying and tagging trees and such that could explain it. This is the right stand, I just need to catch a break

Man, I'd be muttering to myself all day after that. Hope he comes back for you.

Red meat is not bad for you. Green fuzzy meat is bad for you!

Anyone know if they typically log woods on Sundays? I'd imagine they do on Saturday so may not come out tomorrow. They started about 7-7:30 today, a bit disappointed.

3 1/2 hours to go. Switched to a better evening stand but it's set up for gun, it's tricky but with a little luck...

Back out this evening. Saw my first deer of the season out this tree. So hoping for some more action.

Hanging onto my stand for dear life here in Kansas. 32 mph winds. I tried getting down into a draw to knock the wind down a little, which helped a little. Gonna sit till dark and see what happens
