That's been the source of ALL of our mature buck sightings in the last week around my place. Problem is...I'm never in the stand when they're sighted:D Good luck!

That one deserves killing. I have a "lucky" on my list too. So far he's been living up to his name. I hope you get him. Nice trail cam quality btw.

On stand. Going to kill something tonight. Not being fussy. Tomorrow I have to leave.

My stomach turned when I read Tacklebox's story and saw the pics.

You keep at it buddy. You'll get him.

I had a similar thing happen last year....I shot the buck the next day. Keep you head up.

Thank goodness the farmer that borders the public land let me hunt his property. Over the past couple of months I walked miles upon miles to find stable doe bedding areas and could not. Well today I found "it". There are going to be bucks all over this place.

I must be a glutton for punishment. I've been in ground blinds since 600am other than the time it took me to drive from 1st spot to 2nd spot. I haven't seen a thing. The only saving grace is that my ground blind is doing a fine job keeping the wind at bay.

Same to you Ruger. I havent done enough in season scouting over the years and this year I told myself I would do it. The ground was soaking wet and I was silent. I slipped in, hung my stand, and got out of there to meet my kids after school. Tomorrow morning=death to a buck. :)

All comfy and out of most of the wind. Sitting at the bottom of a big valley, with a bunch of smaller valleys feeding into it. Hopefully my assumption that they'll be using these to move about is right

Nice, congrats, good luck on the track. Think I need to be squirrel hunting, got about 10-15 of the little bastards running around.

He headed north of me. I do have a cam up there 200 some yards away on a scrape. Guess we'll find out. Lol! I wasn't sure if I was going to shoot him or not (had bow in my hand ready to go) otherwise I would've taken a picture with my phone.
