    Sitting in the middle of a thicket, 100 yards off is an unpicked bean field that has scrapes a d large rubs all over! Wind is from scrapes to thicket, hoping bucks will cruise thicket while scent checking scrapes, no action yet!

    Just saw my first buck !!! He came in about 35 yards behind some thicket. Came in on a primo bleat.

    This has to be the worst start of any season I've ever had. A couple years back on opening morning (1st Sat. of Oct.) I had 5 bucks come by me. I haven't any seen 5 bucks all season and I'm counting any buck that has a dong. Blind calling has produced zero for me this year. Usually, I can get a spike or forky to respond but not this year.

    Packed up and went to the other end of this property. Checked the camera, only a couple does, one spike and one 4 point.

    Not sure if I want to setup here or check another spot.
