    Heading out for the last day forges vacation...then 2 days work...then 4 days off...then 3 days work...then another 10 days off...this is.rough!!! ;)

    Back in a tree finally! Not even shooting light yet and I can already see everything. Almost no leaves left in this spot.

    Kicked up 2 on the way in....in spot where I narrowed 3 over the last several years....also where I believe I coulda shot that one I nicked this year, last year but my tag was filled

    I need a 40 foot pull up rope! :) Waited until light to walk into another spot to find a new stand. Due to the terrain, had to climb high. My bow was about 6' off the ground and I have a 30 foot rope. Still feels too low.

    I'm low to ... Any deer corms from my left I'll be eye to eye with. God help anything that comes from my right though :)

    Kind of warm here in north central Illinois. About 50, light wind. Gonna hit the antlers in a couple minutes. Sure as hell beats working! Good luck friends!

    Aaannnd just spooked a doe that was down the hill at the treeline. Saw something move and figured it was far enough that I could reach for my binocs. Guess I was wrong. She turned around and walked off with probably 5 other does.

    Great. Would have been perfect if they had kept coming and headed up to bed above me. :banghead:
