Omg. I just realize my bow camera can read SD cards. I threw it in there and there was deer like crazy in this plot yesterday. I suck old man balls so bad.

Well it started to rain, so I decided to go trek around and see what I found. Not to encouraged. No buck sign what so ever, no rubs or scrapes at all. Found several areas with acorns that don't look like that have been touched except by squirrels. Also did not see any deer, or hear any I bumped, but it is windy and rainy so can't be 100% sure on that one. Also found snare traps along the fence line, so that would explain why someone drove around the field this morning, and my guess will probably do it every morning right at sun up. FML. What started out as a great lease is slowly turning into a not so great lease. It was great for turkey season and trail cams during the summer. Just not great for actual deer season so far.

It is technically on the other side of the fence line, but I don't know if it is the land owner or someone from the property to the north.

The people I lease from have cattle, and there seems to be a lot of yotes here, my guess is they are running snare traps to try and a take a few of them out.

Official live from the ground in Cali. 27 degrees before sun up. Day four begins. One doe is the past three. Next week she's mine. Man blacktail deer are hard to find in the mountains. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1383581909.892365.jpg
