    I had a little entertainment 10 yards away. Was watching a squirrel gathering leaves and then it climbed a red oak. I followed him up the tree with my binos until he went into a hole. Immediately heard chatter and out came two squirrels and the chase was on!

    Yea, there is a plus side to that and a down side, I hung a stand on a corner route or the purpose of early season movement between a corn field and the timber. It served its purpose but now it is pretty much useless, and being a ladder stand I don't want to move it this close to rut.
