I called it quits about 1:30 or so. I have to work in the morning so I won't sit until sunset, gave it until what I thought was a marginal shot wait and called it a weekend.

I'm starting to think that lone turkey didn't make it. About 35 minutes after it came through a pack of coyotes just went crazy, first time I've heard that during the daylight, hope its not the case but hey wreak havoc on the turkeys.

I'll be back out Friday am with a revived spirit, hopin to be jealous I didn't take y vacation this coming week. I'll be coming up with an alternative gameplan in case my cams don't show any hope. Plan on getting in stand about 1 1/2 hours early as I'll be able to view the cards in stand at that point and make a decision before sunrise.

Hunting a new spot I got permission for yesterday. Went up to the wrong house and was asked if I wanted to hunt it. Then I found the right house and got permission there. :)

Probably not going to amount to much since the corn isn't down yet, but this is very nice in here. Got logged last winter so there is a lot of undergrowth.

I have my bow laying on my lap. I just had a bird land on my arrow and stare at me for about. 30 seconds. That must be some kind of sign...LOL

Saw 2 bucks chasing a doe 3000 yards away. Just a little out of my comfort zone but was tempted to take a shot.

3000 is a little far, 2850 is as far as I'd go

[IMG] This was earlier through the binos. The deer was broadside in all just a little out of reach. Now there's another at 4000. Should I test my new Killzones?
