LC. Those scrapes on whatever road you were on...I'd stay away from them and let whatever buck(s) are using that scrape line to keep it business as usual. Then when it's a cold late October morning.....set up and kill

I wouldn't even know what to do with myself if I had 500 acres to hunt solo. I'd probably quit life in general. Ha

Haha. We have a lot of those blocks on public i hunt. They are impenetrable to us but somehow ive watched huge racked bucks pop out of that stuff. I bet you found a gold mine .

Stuck in bed on a heating pad. I relpaced stand straps yesterday . Stood on ladder rungs a long while doing so. Well with age and 2 bad knees, yeow!!! Rt knee and hip is screamming hey STUPID This will teach you. Will try this afternoon.

Now that said, last night we got a whopper electrical rain, wind storm. Temps then dropped like a rock. The switch flipped and summers now gone. Highs will stay in low to mid 60's with night temps low to mid 40's at night. Scary enough we had to force the dogs out to potty, they were'nt happy.
This should get things moving in the woods.

Oh dairy farmer is chopping all the corn fields in the area. We have grain corn, beef farmer planted along our southern border, that will remain standing as a draw

I'm late to the party this season, but I'm in for my first hunt! I called off sick to do a 9-3 in the blind. No pics of my target buck since 9/16...

good thing i decided to shoot my bow one last time yesterday before i went out. Arrow hit about 10” right. I tried another and same. Noticed my cable slide was Gone! Found a piece of it on garage floor and nothing else anywhere. Had to get one amazon overnight. Installed and im right back on. Think ill head out this evening for my first sit.
