    Seriously, in the pics you posted above I can see dark splotches but to me they aren’t red. They’re just darker than the stalks and leaves.

    I was blood trailing a doe alone last year and I was actually texting @Tony pics and asking “Is this red?”

    Throw a roll of TP in your bag. A single sheet on any damp suspect areas should be telling...

    A spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide another way to tell as it bubbles up on blood.

    Just got in the stand. 45min till shooting time. All the stars were out. Big Dipper is sitting on its handle. Meteor just went shooting across the atmosphere and I've already saw two satellites.

    Cool clear 35deg. No wind.

    Buck, bear or turkey on the menu.

    Hubby asked me not to go out, he needs some help this morning getting the deck back on the JD. I also want to make him a good breakfast for an anniversary treat.
