Good reminder. Also, stay tied in at all times when climbing trees. Hank Parker learned the hard way, falling 30 feet because he didn't have a linemans belt on while setting climbing sticks. Here's a guy who should certainly have known better. I still don't know how he didn't break any bones falling from that height??

After the yotes passed through about 20 minutes deer started popping in and out on the mower trails through the goldenrod. One younger deer ran up the trail and passed me. The doe I shot followed the first one. She stopped broad side 8 yds in front of me and started feeding. She turned to look in the direction she just came and 2 4pts were coming up the same trail that’s when I let her have it. Shot was high center I believe I got liver and some guts. I should have drawn down on her being so close but I rushed the shot and put the 20yd pin on her. Blood trail was just little droplets here and there TDK wouldn’t have approved. She went about 70yds and was dead in the tree line. Thanks for all the congrats. C73CA9C9-E8D3-4EF3-BB74-F58D41F07F6E.jpeg D2F420C9-ABD7-470A-9F2F-884980448066.jpeg
