    Can’t deprive yall any longer. Was great to be out only saw a squirrel. Idk if I’ll ever get used to coming out on the river at dark that’s something else. I thought I could hear something going on further up the point and there is enough room there for me to miss it. I might throw another hunt at this spot in the next few weekends before duck season opens. IMG_0652.jpeg

    Another fairly slow sit. Saw a year and a half old buck and heard at least 2 deer heading to the oak flat I wanted to sit on tonight but the NE wind would have blow. Every deer out before they even got there. Try again tomorrow

    To this mornings hunt, I bought 4 brand new ratchet straps. A good reminder early in the season about equipment safety. Looks can be deceiving. That also goes to trees climbed.
