Strapped in and ready for the last 2 1/2 hours. I love the views from this stand Buck, doe, coyote are all on the menu tonight. Buck will have to be an eyeball 130 or better though. Good luck everyone!
Almost 90 today here in missouri. Supposed to be very hot here all weekend. Good luck to those getting into a tree this weekend. I'm going to wait until Monday when the temps drop. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

I decided to hunt across the road this afternoon and tomorrow morning. I’m all set up, but if I see anything it will probably be in the morning. Sunday I get a tour of the new 560 acres and a key to the gate.
Well, had several doe 80 yards away tonight but they never came in and then it started pouring rain with 40 minutes left … pouring rain and super dark … back at it Sunday am and all day Monday Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Snuck in late to this river spot jumped a buck in summer scouting. Was late and discombobulated as usual but feels great to be on a hang and hunt opening weekend for once. Not expecting much but wanted to give this spot one try on an east wind early and we don’t get many of those. On a point that goes out into the river making a kind of peninsula into the Mississippi River. Seems I don’t have enough signal to upload my first treestand selfie so you all will have to wait till I get home to see my beautiful mug. Getting back in the dark is gona be a adventure never went this far on the river after dark lol
That would be great, but right now I’d settle for seeing deer move. This afternoon had potential but the new neighbors decided to wait until the last hour and a half of daylight to mow and edge their big yard. It’s only 180 yards from me.
