Not a quiet time in. On the way to oak flats a turkey about gave me a heart attack.right over my head Just now the seat in my ladder stand dropped a few inches WTH.! I look around strap broke. Thank God there is the stabilizer but also back up line at foot rest level. Taking my pull line an tying it off at seat bracket level. That is as soon as I get my heart out of my throat.
I'm surprised I'm not hearing acorns dropping. I know they have been 'the ground is covered and squirrels are busy.
Just had a great talk with the turkey that scared me on the way in. Called them to 35 yrds couldn't get my phone out. They moved up the hill but are still trying to get me to talk.. that was fun and good practice.

Dropping off a vehicle for maint, regional airport across the streets with private planes flying missions for operation airdrop to the mountains...almost crying. In laws got power back outside of Augusta yesterday. Work today and living vicariously today. Get em.
