Live from the couch Got cut on Friday morning. Tomorrow is opener so i think ill wait a week or two before i get out. Little sore but shouldnt take too long. I just hope i get some control and strength back in my hand eventually
Not a cut. I didnt word that right. I got “cut on” on friday morning. Ulnar nerve damage which caused wasting, numbness and loss of control in the hand. Sort of like carpal tunnel but the nerve damage was pretty severe. Came out of nowhere when my elbow popped funny. Funny bone nerve popped out of place and was getting crushed every time i bent my elbow. Problem is it took couple months to get the surgery!
Getting old and fragile haha. Read my reply to early-in. Recovery should be fairly quick i hope. VS said his buddy had same thing done and was able to regain quite a bit.

Well guys I'll be out in the morning. I shot the cross bow 20-30-40 off hand, center 1 in drop on 30-40. A center, 1 in pull left at 20. Seeing My worst hand holds the fore stock and it is very swollen and very painful under weight, I'm happy. I'll have rests at all shooting spots. Last night I had several doe and a high racked young 8pt 60yrds from a blind. They had to pass blind to get there. A new cam I bought wasn't working from first set up. I was ticked and just tossed it aside to deal with later. Well I came across it and tried again, dang if it didn't work after all. Actually captures from a long distance. A couple of doe from 3-4 a.m.. coming up hill through our place headed to sanctuary. So I moved it and hope to get a look at the area I've seen deer. I'm thinking hard on how I'll be playing the great s,e,se,sw winds that we are having in the morning. I know exactly where I'll be in the afternoon.
