    It's happening fast here. I'm still in the low 30s at night and 60s during the day. Saw my first frog on Thursday. Will guarantee to see a few big black snakes out sunning themselves this week. Also did a walk yesterday. I was crawling in ticks.

    yea, the spring frogs are croaking and peeping already .. still some ice on inland lakes, but this week it should take a yuuuuge hit .. Goonie birds are heading north in large flocks and noisy as heck (Sandhills) .. been hearing rumors about another "polar vortex" coming south late March, damn, I hope not .. once these rivers drop and clear some I'm steelheading ..

    Same here. Pollen everywhere. I walked through some of my spots and looked in places I'd never been. It already felt as though the mosquitoes were on the ready....I hate those things

    I dont want to fast of a warm up, if the oaks get some nice buds/blooms then a late heavy freeze hits, it will suck for the acorn crop .....
