Brother I don't know what's it's like in Ohio but here in the Hooooooosier state it is brutal right now, weather-wise. Props to you for being out there in this.

I really wanted to snow scout on Tuesday. Man it's too cold! I hate even saying that bc it would give me a bunch of intel. Might have to just layer up and get after it.

Great sit, tons of action just couldn’t get a shot at a mature doe.
Snowing like crazy. Really fun sit. Now for the drive home.

Definitely snowing and cold. I’m from western NY. Cold and snow is what I grew up on. The heated vest, socks, and hand warmers are a bonus. Seeing tons of deer from the moment I was in the stand helped too.

Difficult just getting storm door opened and shut.

Walked outside to a stiff breeze and 17 degrees. Crazy how much warmer it feels today than it did yesterday morning.

They love expensive Safflower seed, too. They bump it out with their snout. Image1737907394.527953.jpg

We took a Gator ride yesterday. I ride all open trails to make movement easier for critters. The animal tracks in tire the tire tracks are wild. Deer beds in them as well. Plots tore up.
This is just making all these areas a habitual travel area and bedding for them to take into the year. Which makes mid winter work essential.
