    I really could use 1 more deer. Im down to last 2 weeks to get it done. I will be out this weekend at some point. Some nasty cold weather is on its way this coming week. Should make for some better hunting.

    I was saying I didn't want to shoot a Doe at the farm cause they are all pregnant, but I don't mind shooting Doe on public, knowing that they are pregnant.

    I’ve been on stand for about 45 minutes. Still plenty of snow on the ground. 40 degrees and sunny. I haven’t been in this spot since last Saturday. Good luck if you’re out.

    I ended up seeing 17 deer last evening. The biggest bucks were 6 points. I had a daylight picture of my target buck on Thursday afternoon but he didn’t show up yesterday. I’m back on stand hoping he’ll show up today.

    Looks like its the end for me this 2024-2025 season. 2 down and in the freezer. Time to start collecting and unpacking and organizing for next year.

    I’ve seen 12 does and fawns, 4 long beards and an opossum. Hopefully the bucks start moving soon.

    Alright im up. Out on some public, in the middle of bedding area. Not a ton of tracks, but some. I only need 1 deer to come by. So still and quiet, made a bunch of noise, not sure how this will go.

    We had a huge herd out in the alfala last night from what hubby observed. A slight warm up / melt, slight. With a wild drop begining they were hard on the feed. We woke to 19 and dropping. I was out back with boys for a first of year run for them, with me. Wow so many new rubs where I got the bow buck, and farther up on us. Just so many buck, will they remain or disperse by fall next year.
