I’ve been set up since a half hour before first light. All I’ve seen is one squirrel, the only life form besides myself stupid enough to be out this morning. Coldest day of the year so far. It may not be cold by northern standards but here it’s miserable. I don’t really have the gear for it so I have around $20 worth of various Hot Hands products placed strategically.

We do that up north too, even with the right clothing, or we use heater vests and battery hand warmers. I'm a northerner and I'm not sure I'd go out at 14 degrees to sit in a stand.
