I hunted the past 2 nights....so close. In Michigan we have a new EXTENDED late doe season this year that runs from Jan 2-12. I hope to get 4+ does this week. The weather is finally cold. Last week I had a sinus cold that curtailed my hunting over Christmas break. I retire from teaching 5 months from today....I love my job, but look forward to more control over when I work.
About 3 inches of snow here today. Snow day off for the kids, so im home sledding with them. This is the first snow this year to stick, so they are going nuts! Great day to do some snow tracking.

with the urban/deer reduction zones still open till the 31st, Indiana has killed 125,594 for the all the regular seasons up to now .. the highest kill in the last 10 yrs .. (glad I could help in that) ..
those seem pretty big, and slightly adjacent... going to be a lot of xbows out on public land during gun season.
