No need. The caretaker of the property (neighbor of mine) gave me a ride down this morning. I was hoping it would crank right up after sitting overnight and it did.

I rode it back home and I’m probably going to get back out tomorrow afternoon.

He took me on a tour of the places I hadn’t been and I was blown away at the trails and the sign.

I didn't kill a deer this season either, but for me it wasn't a bust at all. I had no intentions of killing a doe, and had 5 or 6 within easy bow range. I also had no intentions of killing anything other than my target 8pt, letting a couple "legal bucks" walk, also well within bow range. I've gotten to the point in my hunting life, that I just don't have to kill a deer to enjoy the pursuit. It's all of the little things that I experienced along the way.

This is where you will kill a 150 plus one day.

Nothing after the does spooked off. I think the blind made them nervous. That is why I put it out today, although if my son had been there, or if I had had a gun, one would have died. The hung up around 80 yards across the plot. If deer do that on Sunday during the youth rifle weekend, we should do well.

No luck tonight. Grunted in a decent buck but not the one I’m after.

Ahh a blessing in disguise. That’s awesome! That should give you a boost to want to get back out there.

I made it to midnight, but only because my wife made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.

Fred Bear was the ultimate bowhunter. The likes of him will never exist again. Fred Bear's Field Notes (1976) is one of my favorite hunting books.

This is me all the way!!! I enjoy the “being out there” more than the killing, by far. Seeing the Bald Eagle or the Bobcat trying to sneak by like I didn’t see him/her is what excites me!!

I'm up in here for my last sit of the season. I've got a long day ahead of me cause I got to take my stands down and get my cameras out. I'm leaving for Florida for the winter next week so I'm gonna try to get everything done today. Only going to sit till about 10. Good luck if you're out today

Oh and I almost forgot, I'm blessing my wife this morning because I'm sitting here in some very cold weather with the wind blowing. But I'm as snug as a bug in a rug because of the first lite stuff she bought me a few years ago. It's the warmest clothing I've ever owned. So shout out to her!

One of the strangest things I’ve ever picked up while scouting. I spotted this yesterday. It was over a mile from the nearest house.

Maybe a crow picked it up out of someone’s yard. I don’t know.

That's weird. I had a similar experience this year when hanging a stand. I'm walking through the woods and started finding golf balls. They were everywhere. The spot was a good half mile from a house and next to a large cornfield. I found a bunch of them. Still don't know where they came from
