We had a counselor at camp get an actual severed goat leg and wear it, bang on the door in the middle of the night and leave bloody hoof prints on the cabin steps and run off dressed in a black cape and hood. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Ahh, the good old days. Imagine a counselor doing that now. Phone calls home, calls to L.E., parent outrage, civil suits, restitution, and shrinks.
No late hunt for me, hubby gave me the flue and it hit me like a freight train Christmas eve night. This is actually worse than when I Had Covid.
In for the evening sit. Can hear a clearing of trees, a neighbor burning leaves down the street and someone target practicing with a firearm. Marginal wind shifting from my 12 to 2 (bedding area at my 9), and weather blowing in for tonight. A relatively new rub 35yds a head of me. Also appears turkeys have been around, leaves all scratched up.
Carma actually. I was seriously p'd off at hubby laying around doing absolutely nothing before christmas. He was coughing up a lung and complaining about the aches. I had ZERO idea on just how bad it was. He's actually still sick. The pain with this is out of control. There is literally no place on my body that is not in horrible pain. From my hair and skin to every connective tissue in my body.
I'm heading to Ohio this afternoon. Supposed to be pretty warm this weekend and rain on Sunday. Hoping for the best.
Light rain off and on all day. I plan to try to move my stand midday, closer to where the does crossed, last evening. The dilemma, being the size of the trees in that area and I’d have little time to react due to the density. I may have a stout tree that gives me a bit more visibility, but I may need to clear a 40yd shooting lane.
Neighbors are target shooting… Light rain. Bedding in the distance. Hoping to see deer thru pines on right. New shooting lane…either side of pine on right
I was just in Ohio. Walleye fishing the past 2 days...limited out both days. I've mentioned fishing Erie with some of yas after I retire. It's an incredible fishery.
Out in the tower blind with my son. Misty and foggy, have the muzzleloader and the bow with me depending on how they work. Good luck if you're out! Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
