Congratulations! You sure earned that one. I’d be very proud to take him.

Yes!!! I knew you would come through, because you're not a quitter!! Can't say enough about your dedication to bowhunting. All your hard work has paid off, you're an inspiration! You killing/finding that great buck just made my season! I hope you'll provide more pics, and a complete breakdown of the recovery, because that buck is worthy of it. Again, BIG congrats on an awesome hunt and a great season, you more than earned it! :hail:

    Woooooooowwwwwww!

Super duper happy for you. That's an incredible buck. Definitely paid off for you. Great job. Way to go. Saturate yourself if the moment.

Wish I could have been there enjoying the moment. Where are you? Need some more pics.

The recovery wasn’t to bad, just slow and really uneventful. Once I got bk to the last lot of blood from last night I just slowly followed the trail. I always found some blood about every 6ft. Some was easier to find than others and it ranged from 3-4 drops to 10 or more. My main goal was just not to assume which way he went until I had no more blood. I followed it for about 100yds (200yds total 100yds from last night) before I couldn’t find anymore. At this point the trail had already turned and faced the woods on the left which I would not of checked 1st. After a while I couldn’t find any more blood and it was now time to start assuming. I went to the woods the trail was facing and walked up and down the tree line a couple of times looking in. On the return pass I seen him about 10yds in. Total he ran about 350yds. He is an amazing deer which I said a while back it would have to be for me to give up my target buck and I wouldn’t trade him for the other deer given the chance. This season has been an absolute blast. One I will never forget. But it’s not over…..

I enjoyed following you through your season. I knew when you mentioned the number of hours and and all day sits you were putting in, that you were indeed going to kill a good buck. There was no doubt! Thanks for sharing those awesome pics!

I'm just glad when I told you that was a dead deer, that I wasn't wrong! What a great buck all the way around. Can I assume you'll be getting that one mounted? I know I would! :tu:
