Ok I'm up in here for the afternoon. I wanted to go to a different stand that is very close to bedding but it was so crunchy with the snow I was worried I would spook something out of there, so I'm in a stand that probably haven't hunted for a month. This will probably be my last sit of the season, we'll see.

IMG_8157.jpeg IMG_8156.jpeg Ok made a change. I added a stand 35yds from where I was. The one I was in doesn’t hide me very good with all the leaves off the trees, my height was inline with the hill top which didn’t help with scent or been able to move and almost all the deer I have seen close by have always ended within range of this new set up. The only real downside is I have limited view from where they usually come from. They will also be walking by at 10yds but I have shot opportunities before and after. Risky but I’ll see how it goes.

Back in the saddle again, sitting a new tree on a familiar public land food plot. @Jezzy670 had a group of does and a couple bucks here right at last light last night. Bucks were still harassing the does. My son is 80 yards due south me sitting the trail most of the deer came out on last night. We moved a treee stand over there for tinight and the rest of late season.

About an hour and 45 to go, nothing yet. Moon underfoot right at the end of legal and colder temps, hopefully make the last half hour exciting.

Six point just chased two does by me.

    That was pretty cool.

Might he be tending a late doe that you can't see, hence him staying where he is? Or, is he just waiting for you to leave?
