Will you be able to hunt that area at least once more? I feel bad for you, because you have really put in incredible hours on stand to try to nail this buck. You deserve at least a shot at him. Even if you don't get him, I admire your determination, you're the epitome of a hunter!
Thank you I appreciate that. I get to finish the season which goes until Jan 15th. I will be in stand everyday from today until then except Xmas eve and Xmas day. What’s going to make it harder is it’s 1hr 10min drive each way.

Just had a doe come running in to 20 yards. I almost shot her but I knew she was being chased so I waited. Saw the buck coming but couldn’t tell one side was broken off until it was too late to shoot the doe. I let him go and then the fawn came by. I didn’t want to shoot another fawn so she walked too. Three deer I could have shot at 20 yards and I never drew. Crap.
9 deer so far. 6 does, 2 spikes and just had a wide 10p behind me I didn’t see until I sniffled and he ran. He was about 15yards. He wasn’t real tall but his rack was all chocolate. I may have shot him.
