I’m up for the afternoon sit. I moved to where I really wanted be yesterday but the wind was wrong.

It’s a great spot but have no idea how hard it’s been hunted.

That's exactly how it's been going for me this year. Sooner or later it will happen.

    Finally got a double.

    150 and 175 yards

    Dropped both

Not saying best shots, but effective

Evidently the spinal cord is paramount 1000012125.jpg

It’s crazy. I’ll be in stand for the next 3 days then out for 2 then in stand every day until season closes on the 15th. I loose this land after this season so it’s all or nothing now. He’s surly got to give me a shot. He’s gone past that stand on the 3rd/10th and 20th during daylight and 3 other times at night.

I can't get over how this buck continues to elude you. It's like he's a phantom. It really is crazy! It's a shame you'll lose this hunting spot. If you don't mind me asking, why is that?

My friends mum owns 1000s of acres of farm land but most in just crops. He has 2 wooded areas one 160ish acres and another 1 mile up the road that is about 300ish acres. I mostly bow hunt the 160 and rifle hunt the 300. I run most of the cameras on the 160 coz it’s easier to manage and just 1-2 on the 300 so I get what I get with the rifle. Well they have decided to sell the 160ac and the new owners said they will be hunting. The 300ac does have some real big deer on it. This year we got 2 145” and one 12p about 160” and then this 10p last week on camera.
