I certainly wouldn’t got that far. My secret is I download films from Netflix, put in 1 AirPod and watch one film between 12-2. It really helps to break up the day. I watch so many low budget/independent films. I will say about 75% have good storylines.

Decided to go to a different spot on a different ridge this afternoon and tomorrow morning.

    No idea what to expect.

I saw nothing this afternoon. I left my gear in the tree and I’ll be back there in the morning.

I havent been updating as much lately. I guess I’m just kind of tired of posting “I’m set up” or “didn’t see anything”.

Just assume from this point forward that I’m in a tree not seeing anything until I post that I saw something or shot something.

I'm hoping this is my last day of work this week. I want to head back to Ohio early tomorrow morning. I'm having withdrawals.

It’s been an eventful sit. I’ve found a good spot but I need to move about 80 yards north.

I’ve seen around 20 does so far but they were all too far away.

One small group was being chased by a young buck.

Last night in a snow storm, 10 mins. before close 8 doe and fawn piled out of sanctuary across the street and fed in alfalfa 70yrds out from porch. They then fed across and down to our woods.
Weather was just nasty this morning but this afternoon I'm hitting the garden blind with the crossbow. Perfect wind for it. Hoping for good wind on the ladderstand I took 5pt out of in the morning.

I am beyond frustrated right now.

After seeing a ton of deer this morning, all of them way behind me, I started to get down and saw five does in the grass field in front of me 40 yards away. One finally crossed my lane at 35 yards. I ranged it and I dailed 35 yards. I aimed and touched the release. On the shot my bow didn't sound right at all. Just an extremely muffled "fump" and the arrow fell three yards short.

I have no idea what happened. I got home and shot four arrows and I was accurate at 30, 35 and 40 yards. I'm at a total loss. I guess I am just cursed this season.

Oh, and riding my bike out I saw 9 more deer, three of which were right at the four wheeler.

Oh yeah, and I couldn't find that arrow in the grass field. I'll look for it after dark. The Nockturnal should still be lit.

You saw more deer in one day, than I saw in two weeks during my season. You're blessed with a great deer herd.
