Heading in. The weather is close to the same as yesterday. This will be my 50th all day sit with 4 total sightings. 2 at distance and 2 close. That’s an average of 1 every 12.5 sits. I have about 25 more sits left do I should see him 2 more times. Good luck everyone!!!

It was a roller coaster of emotions for sure. When he started walking the trail I was telling myself I’m finally going to get him and basically convinced myself it was a done deal. Then when he started to walk away I went from the highest hi to the lowest low.

That's a great encounter. Is there any way you can move closer to where you saw him coming from. He must have caught some of your scent.

I have a stand down where he came from but that’s the 1st time he has come from that direction that I have seen. I have done about 20 of my sits in that stand and he’s never came from there before so I need to put a camera down there to monitor it and go from there. Who knows that could be his new bedding area. I agree he knew something was going on but the wind was blowing about 8mph away from him so maybe a swirl in the wind or something. Just enough to make him leave but not spook.

I'm trying to find a window of opportunity to get back in a stand. I need at least one more doe for the freezer. My usual doe spot got messed up by the neighbor who decided to "clean up" the best bedding in the area. Wiped out several acres for I'm guessing a bid to develop it. Yay. Anyway, I think I've figured out how they're using the property now. Took a while.

Just had three does come in to 20 yards but I had no shot. Too thick. The wind swirled and they spooked before getting clear.

Your number of all day sits is to be commended. That's serious dedication! All day sits aren't easy, let alone the number of them you've done! You deserve at least a reasonable shot at your target buck. Best of luck!!

50 all day sits. Englishman could be the worldwide cure for adhd if he allows them to study his blood.
