Looks like a great spot. Just need to make a couple of shooting lanes. Good Luck!

Ok boys, I'm up in here. It's dead calm and I'm hoping something will be moving this AM. Good luck to anyone who is out.

It’s 9:20 and nothing has moved. I’m surprised.

I’m going to sit until 10:00 but I’m going to leave this stand here. I can feel that this is a good spot.

That is very odd. Nice that you had some close action though!

coyotes ... they and fox are natural enemies, I noticed the more damn 'yotes I see, the less fox there are ... Greys were really abundant '60's/'70's then they wernt very quickly as coyotes increased ... hell, we have just about every thing else around here now, Otter/beaver/bobcats/badger/coyote/red fox/coon/'possum/weasel and even a bear one time that dropped down from Michigan... BUT no Grey Fox ... ??
also, Habitat loss is responsible, esp. from development and farmers destroying 'edges' and fence rows and small wood lots/ CRP fields at an alarming rate ... gone are the rows of tall grass and Osage Orange/Cottonwood trees/wild apple trees and grassy fence rows and grassy briar filled ditches.. also gone are the quail and pheasant ... remember that old commercial, the one with the Indian Chief (Chief Dan George ?) crying looking at pollution, well thats me every time I see destruction of wildlife habitat ...

I'll be back up in the same tree as yesterday in about an hour. It's 50* here. Let's hope a doe walks by.

I have not tried it yet. Was thinking of waiting until my next kill to utilize it as a bottle I enjoy when I kill a deer

Thank you, it’s been several years but now starting to see the fruits of my labor. I would now like to collect my reward but my target buck likes to play games and right now he’s kicking my ass!!

That pic you posted back in November of the buck you called in and let walk is awesome, especially with the shadow of you in your stand. Really good!

I’m back on stand but in a different spot. I’m only 50 yards from the tree I killed my gun buck and doe out of and 30 yards from the tree I killed my bow buck out of.

    It’s a highly traveled spot.

WOW!!! So I’m just about to pack up when I see antlers coming over the hill that’s 50yds in front of me. I grab my binoculars and see it’s my target buck!! There is about 5min of light left so I grab my bow and turn on my GoPro. He walks away from me to the fence line right in front of a camera. I’m getting worried he is going to jump the fence and leave. He doesn’t he walks towards me heading right where the spikes went this morning. I get to full draw and all he has to do is walk 5 more yards to be at 30yds quartering towards me (that path puts them at 20yds broadside if they keep going). He looks down the path which goes down hill for about a min then decides not to. He turns and trots away. It all lasted about 5 min. I was shaking so bad!! About 30 days left of season.
