It must be tough for a deer to move at all in snow that deep.

Will the deer yard up with snow that deep, like they do further up north?

Thats when you want to hunt pines and gully edges. We get lots of deep snows and can count on them there. Oh swamps swamps always stay warmer the longest

Low teens and got more snow last night I'll be hunting this afternoon. Have to finish coffee and head out to shovel....again.

My apologies to any NYS member, anywhere remotely near us. Hubby worked hard, replaced much, even part of frame but never got the tractor completely finished. I know my luck we are about to have epic snow fall this year....lol

Lol I wrote that and the dogs just started barking. It's hubby returning home?
" I had to pick up a part, don't let anything get it wet I have to prime and paint it".
A part of the trackor frame that they finally finished sand blasting. He NEVER does just an OK job when it comes to the tractors..lol

Be grateful there are not wolves in PA. Your deer herd would take a devastating hit every time there is snowfall like that if there was.

    No, I didn’t but she’s dead.

If I’d had a buck tag I could have shot the 8 point that ran her to me.

Don't need wolves , coyotes are nasty and roaming dogs nastier.

Well, I might have shot him if if had a tag.

Who am I kidding? I’d have shot him.

Here’s a screenshot from the video I shot of him. This was before the 16 degree post-adrenaline shakes set in.

No snow here. Just a bunch of “frost flowers”.
