Mature doe that's it. I either find that doe in the morning or I'm hanging up the bow. Will have 3 to 4 hrs in the morning.

How far away are you from Ellsinore, MO?

I could bring Elly May to track.

Got a dusting of snow this morning, still hanging around as of last light on my camera, going to take my [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]] out in the AM for a quick hunt before work, can’t turn down hunting with some snow on the ground

It happens to everyone if you hunt long enough. Best of luck tracking her down.

@Jezzy670 hit one like that in the beginning of October, I found it dead 70 yards away. Arrow took out the top of the lung, cut the liver in half and guts plugged the exit. It won’t go far if you hit it like that. Good luck!

agreed, if that's the way it happened that's a dead deer close by, just not much blood.
Sending you all my good vibes, bow brother!

As for myself, gonna pack up and head up north in the AM, should be up there in time to hunt the afternoon. Santa came early and this sickass xbow arrived today. Don't think I will need the pew pew this weekend at all.

Heading in. It’s going to be a cold sunny day. It’s been a week since I last seen him, would be nice to see him again in person again. Good luck everyone!!

I’m sitting here drinking my coffee and watching the wood stove do its thing.

It’s 17 degrees out right now and I really don’t have the gear for it but my new heated vest works well and I’ll use a few adhesive body warmers to help make it bearable.

All set up in the stand, ran into a few sets of eyes on my way in, they didn’t seem to mind me walking by
