Action seems to have died off now. Still early, I’ve had some good late morning movement in this area

Just had 3-4 does come in directly behind me. Had to get turned around, was facing directly into the sun once I got turned around and lost them for about 5 minutes , then caught them going back the way they came

Good news on son. Healing well down grading to brace and removing for sleep and exercises prescribed.

Getting down in a few, have been eyeing up a new tree for the next time I’m down, Any type of west wind will have me pretty much bullet proof and moving to this tree will have me not crossing the deer trails, I think that’s what messed me up on the first doe this morning

That deer came from up the hill where I was thinking about moving to but that dead fawn I found was up there I had a really nice 8 pointer on camera checking a scrape about 2 days ago just didn’t know if that dead deer would affect movement

I think of the ones I've purchased, this one is probably my favorite. It gets so hot you can't really run it in the high setting. And I've found that on the medium setting it will pretty much run all day. It is 12,000 mAh and the price fairly reasonable on Amazon. 20241127_105930.jpg 20241127_105959.jpg

My view this morning. Got some fresh snow yesterday. Lots of tracks in it already.

I don’t think that deer will affect movement. I’ve had deer walk up to gut piles and sniff them before.

Dropped my son’s buck off at the taxidermist this morning. Going to take care of somethings around the house this afternoon and scheme for a Friday morning attack. Finally getting morning temps around freezing the next six days.

What's that white stuff on the ground? Trees got dandruff?

We don't see that stuff down here much...I do kinda miss it though, following tracks in the snow was a great scouting tool.

I've been following this SoB around for 2 hours trying to see where he's hunting but he won't stop.

Just got a new deer processor sheet, looks like he has some tasty treats on there. It could be brown down tonight. Just got settled in. The thought of deer kielbasa and jalapeño snack sticks makes the trigger finger itchy. F08152DA-03B5-4E43-8A4C-EC0FC9EE1AC7.jpeg

Back up, have a little over 2 hours until dark. It feels like everybody is hunting my woods, no action anywhere.
