Rifle season has finished so I’m heading out. It felt like forever these last 10 days. Back to dark to dark sits for the foreseeable future chasing my target buck. I know he made it until at least the 22nd, hoping to have him on camera after today’s date. Keep at it guys you never know when it’s going to happen!! Good luck everyone!!

Hoping to catch a big boy in here, but I’m feeling mighty trigger happy so does are probably on the menu as well!

I set up by two buck beds I found last winter. Can't do any worse than I've been doing. In an hr before sun.

Two deer just came into that bedding from different ways. First one sounded like he was walking heavy.

Oh yea. I haven't given up for sure. Ive had some of my best hunts mid December. I really am starting to think the doe population may be affecting us. We really dont shoot that many does and the neighbors dont either. We need to get on it. And yes this weekends temps are looking money! Good luck to you. I have to work today and family stuff tomorrow but hopefully i can get a couple days worth of hunts in. Will be in the teens here. :woot:

This is crazy, 1.5hrs in and only seen 1 deer at 1st light at about 100yds. I’m kinda surprised since it’s 40f and cloudy.

Don't feel too bad, I've had days where I sat for 11 hours and not seen anything at all.
