I sit here in a hot Dr. Teals bubble bath. Just got done washing the gator in high winds and cold rain. Needed this for over a week but only had time for quick showers. Soul reviving, anywho, checked cam a bit ago and the gut piles. Coyotes have not been around to my surprise. Cam had one of the big buck at midnight a doe and rabbits.though also a owl sitting on a rabbit. The buck made a rub just a few yards from sons gut pile and took a giant dump in the 3ft scrape. None of the pics had great view of his rack but I don't think it's the 12pt may be the 10pt.
Just glad he's alive even if I'm buck tagged out. I'm starting to think my lack of doe sightings on us is due to buck being on us. I have always been doe bedding and fawn drop. It may have switched. Dang! The # of rubs.

Pretty sure I tore something in my knee last evening...was doing a light jog and >twang<.

Didn't sleep well last night...rubbing dirt on it didn't help either. Hurts when I twist my foot outward, some when flexed and putting weight on it (e.g. Stairs) or if pulling (taking off socks / shoes). My to-be DIL (PA son's sig other is an OT) mentioned possible mcl or meniscus. May need to visit the ortho tomorrow, assuming we are left go early...

It really does not take much to tear them. I will tell all of you get a daily dose of collagen please it helps so much the unflavored isnt noticable in your morning coffee or protien shake.

I may need to add collagen, with the protein powder, to my granola recipe.

Think I'll go sit a green field tonight. Farmer planted barley this fall and it's drawing lots of deer this past week. It's has a 5 acres drainage thicket/woods in the center of the field that I can overlook from a treeline 80 yards away with a favorable wind.

Sitting along field edge. West wind. Quick sit. Hoping for the best. I'm on Thanksgiving break!

    Good luck LFTS.

Had to make a last minute move to the other side of the property. The guys working on the cell tower were pretty loud I don’t think any deer would be coming my direction with them yelling and being shot at for the past week
