Congrats slugger and Ole Knothead (OND) ;)

Good luck everyone. Dropping meat off at the butcher later and hopefully dropping my buck off at the taxi. I'm mounting that buck. Haven't done one since 2000.

    No shooting last night.

Helped track and recover 2 deer.
11 yo put a perfect shot on her 2nd deer.
Buddy made a non lethal shot, but tracked and got him.

    I love love tracking deer.

In the corn at 530 this morning- shooting light is 713. Several fawns and 2 little bucks. Really need to start shooting does.

Slugfest! Is he up for MVP?...I'd take him over Aaron Judge.

OND - With all of your success this year, is it safe for me to assume you're not in the contest this year?! Way to go young lady.

Happy to have so many of you hunting this weekend. Good luck! 1000011169.jpg 1000011165.jpg

A doe and 2 fawns came in at 40 yards. Then a spike chased them off.

About 9 here goes 5 does crossing the corner...faster than a walk. Didn't stop until 200+ out. 10 minutes later I hear voices from where they came. Really wanted one of those. Still a fawn feeding out here.

    Sitting til 1030.

Thanks, Brett! I'm still riding high over it. I have looked at that rack in my garage, shaking my head and saying, I still can't believe that happened.

I had big plans to hunt before work today. 330am alarm vs work ending at 9pm made me throw my alarm across the room. This might not be my year. LOL

Man things got a little crazy for a minute had about 8 turkeys cross the creek going up the hill on the other side saw a deer get behind them don’t know what it was then all the sudden a buck comes from the other side of the hill chasing that deer it was a decent buck put the scope on it didn’t think it was big enough for the rifle wanted to shoot it with the bow but never got closer than 70 best day in the woods in a long time

5 of my hunting buddies have been in Kansas hunting public land since last Saturday leaving today. All of them have got bucks. Yesterday one of them got a 6x6 mega stud that’s going to go 170”+. Now on the final morning the last 2 who didn’t shoot got an arrow in another giant with mega mass. They were in the same draw and it ran by both of them… sparked a fire in me a bit. The girlfriend said I should go I was so fired up for them the last 2 days.
