Rained all night then temps plummeted. Got out 1/2 hr before light so was running late. Had to go to nearestt blind , garden. Not even a bird this morning.Though 2-3 am I had a buck I would shoot for meat . Half rack 4 and a small one. Then the doe and twins. More rain then snow is due in . I came back to get a load of wood for son need to go get more. We were given a bunch of last years deer the other day ...man cheese brats . I seared then simmered in a semi sweet red wine. Holy cow were they good. Hubby was still talking about them this morning. I just have to get to camp.
