I didn’t want to interrupt my son’s hunt but I didn’t want to track after dark so I got down and found him myself. It was pretty easy since he was heart shot with a 45-70 and he died 60 yards from the road. He’s a really big bodied deer for these Ozark hills.
Cousin and I went to the state land tonight they were logging a couple areas so we went to an unknown area. Very little sign and no sightings. I think I might spend the day in the blind tomorrow since it looks like a rain day.
